WWII Experience at Bewdley Museum

This week, Oak class went on a trip to Bewdley Museum for a WWII experience.
With the help of the excellent museum staff, the children were able to exercise their existing knowledge of WWII, and experience it what it felt like to be an evacuee, learn about preparations for war using a range of primary resources, and visit a genuine World War II Air Raid Shelter located in the museum grounds.
As always, the children were excellent representatives of the school and the museum staff commented on their secure understanding of WWII, their love of learning and their respect for one another throughout.
It was an excellent day and thoroughly enjoyed by all – until next time….
