Today, all of the children in Years 4,5 and 6 were involved in a tag rugby tournament organised by our very own Rugby Rob at Bromyard Rugby Club!

The sun was shining and everyone had the best day! All three teams displayed outstanding sportsmanship and resilience.

It was particularly nail-biting and exciting when our first team played in the final. Although today was not their day as they were marginally pipped at the post by Burley Gate, both teams were excellent and it was mentioned that there had not been such an outstanding tag rugby final at primary level.

Pencombe CofE Primary should be extremely proud of their performance today and a referee even acknowledged that they were a pleasure to umpire because they supported one another and played with such enthusiasm.
