Oak class have been creating space mission patches in their art lessons.

Space patches are embroidered patches applied to an emblem designed for a crewed space mission. Traditionally, the patch is worn on the space suit that astronauts and cosmonauts wear when launched into space.

The children have been studying the work of Robert McCall, a NASA space artist, who famously designed patches for space missions and used his creations as a stimulus for their own – excellent work Oak class!
