Pippin class have been exploring shape in maths. They looked for different shapes in the outdoor environment, made shape mosaics with the tap-a-shape tiles and drew around shapes in their maths books. At home, they went off to find shapes around their homes…..

The children continued exploring shape: both indoors and out. The children used hammers and nails to make corners and wrapped wool to show different shapes. They used the same visual awareness to make shapes on pin boards with elastic bands – great work Pippin Class!
