Our Reception children have been working incredibly hard in phonics, using a range of fun and engaging activities to practise their sounds. They’re becoming brilliant sound detectives too – always looking out for letters and sounds in words all around them, both in the classroom and beyond!
Developing strong phonics skills at this stage is so important, as it helps children build the foundations they need for confident reading, writing and spelling as they move through school.
