Cherry class were invited into Birch class this week to share in their Science investigation where they were looking at how food travels through their body through digestion.

It was very messy and very engaging. The children broke up food and drink in their stomach (plastic bag) then poured it through their intestines (tights).

It helped them understand how they can excrete food and how it is broken down.
