Oak Class took part in the Op Pied Piper Evacuee Parade this morning through the streets of Bromyard, dressed as evacuees.
The British Legion organised the whole event and we were lucky enough to meet Vanessa Redgrave MBE and Lord Alfred Dubbs, both evacuated to Bromyard during WWII.
We also took part in a church service alongside many other schools, sang wartime classics and created artwork to be displayed around the church. (see photos)
It was a wonderful event to be a part of, and Bromyard did very well in re-living a part of history that should never be forgotten.
