Oak – WWII visit

Oak class were lucky enough to have Mrs Davies (Rita’s mum) come into school to talk to the children about WWII. What better way to understand what life was like during WWII than to speak to someone who was a little girl, living at a local farm, at that time? The children listened to the most wonderful and historical information presented to them, and they were able to ask questions too! Many thanks Mrs Davies for allowing us the opportunity to accessing a world that is so different to the one we have today…
