It was the Mother’s Day Service in church this Wednesday, where children and families came together to say thank you to all the wonderful people who care for them with love, patience, and kindness.
Oak Class shared a thoughtful message from the Bible about the importance of kindness:
“Be kind and compassionate to one another.” – Ephesians 4:32
Cherry and Pippin Classes delighted everyone as they told their mums why they are so important to them, and Willow Class proudly recited the poems they had written especially for the day.
At the end of the service, each child presented their mum or grandma with a daffodil—a symbol of kindness, new beginnings, and the bright love that mothers and carers bring into their lives.
