This week, Cherry Class enjoyed a walk around the village using a simple map.
The children used their maps to pinpoint the locations of significant buildings and landmarks in Pencombe, adding these to their own versions as they explored. They also practised thinking about compass directions, helping them understand how maps represent the world around them.
