Wassily Kandinsky was an artist who loved using bright colours and bold shapes to show feelings and music in his paintings. He believed that colours could make people feel emotions, just like notes in a song.
Instead of painting real things like trees or people, he often painted lines, circles, and patterns to create the first abstract art. Children all over the world enjoy his artwork because it looks fun, imaginative, and full of energy – especially the children in Cherry class!
This week, they started to recreate one of his paintings by printing different sized circles.
Looking forward to seeing your creations evolve Cherry class!
