Cooking in Pippin Class

In Pippin Class, Mrs Brown and the children hope to cook every week! Not only will this encourage the children to try different foods, but will also improve and develop their hand muscles for chopping, spreading and mixing.
They began with cooking stewed apple for snack time. Knives need to be small and sharp enough to do the job, and under close supervision. It was very tasty!
There was more appley goodness with the “magic” apple peeler! Their sound in phonics was “a” so for a treat, the children all got to eat a magic apple. Reception worked hard on this sound – excellent work Pippin Class!
