On Thursday, Willow Class were delighted to be joined by Cherry Class for a day of prehistoric fun!
As part of their History topic, Stone Age to Iron Age, the children took inspiration from the cave paintings featured in their class text, Stone Age Boy, and created their own cave art.
The children explored how Stone Age people may have made paints using natural materials.
They experimented with a range of ingredients, including paprika, nutmeg, cinnamon, herbs, gravy granules and cocoa powder, mixing them to create different colours and textures.
They then used their paints to design and produce their own wonderful cave paintings.
