Castles in Cherry Class!

This term in Cherry Class we have all really enjoyed learning about Castles! We had a great day visiting Ludlow castle, followed by a medieval style banquet in Pencombe Village Hall, complete with wonderful costumes and even a silly jester to entertain us!
We have learnt interesting facts about castle life, made our own shields and tried on a real knight’s gauntlet.
In English we learned to recite the story of Sleeping Beauty and made up our own versions. Lots of special memories…
