Caerleon Trip In Willow

On Tuesday, Willow Class were lucky to spend their day at Caerleon where they explored the amphitheatre, barracks, Roman baths, gardens and the museum.
Willow class learn about Roman Britain so it is an excellent experience for them!

They took part in a role playing activity of rich Roman’s families and slaves. They explored a range of different artefacts and clothing, witnessing what life would be like for a Roman soldier and where they would sleep.

They tried on some Roman armour and helmets- not the most comfiest items to wear!

As always, the children were excellent ambassadors of the school, having the most wonderful experience, in such a beautiful and historical location – until next time!
