On Wednesday, it was the turn of Cherry class to lead our worship.
Our value this month is ‘peace’ so the children acted out the story of Abigail the Peacemaker.
Abigail was a kind, wise woman married to Nabal, a rude man. When Nabal angered David, Abigail quickly brought food and gifts to David, asking for peace. Her courage stopped a fight. David thanked her for saving lives.
Later, after Nabal died, Abigail became David’s wife. She was a true peacemaker!
