Cherry class have started their new Talk4Writing topic called ‘A Dark Dark Tale’. The children listened to the story and explored what was inside their own dark dark box – just look at their faces of intrigue and delight!

As they explored the text even more, they began to look at the vocabulary used by Ruth Brown and what affect it has on the reader.

The children began to use the dictionaries to find out the meaning of new words such as ‘moor’. Excellent work Cherry class!
