Forest School was a bit wet, but Pippin class had fun.

The children planted bean seeds, looked for newts and painted with mud.

They enjoyed creative play in the mud kitchen, the big pit and the bird hide.

It was great to see children balancing, mixing, carrying and jumping as part of their independent exploration, using big and small muscles, keeping warm and active through their own initiatives. A lovely soggy afternoon!
