Ordering School Uniform

We have made some changes to improve the system for supplying school uniform.

You can now order and pay for school uniform online from School Trends by following the link School Trends.

School uniform is also available from the Monkhouse Schoolwear Specialists and you can order either directly in store or online.

Our uniform provides an identity for the school and is also helpful in terms of security within and around the school.

P.E. & Games Kit

The wearing of jewellery and high-heeled shoes is not permitted on Health and Safety grounds. If children’s ears are pierced we would ask parents or carers to limit this to studs, and a maximum of one stud per ear. All jewellery must be removed for PE. Studs that cannot be removed need to be covered by the child with micro-pore tape.

Pre-loved Uniform

Our school PTA sells pre-loved uniform, allowing us to recycle uniform whilst also raising funds. The PTA has a “Pencombe Pre Loved Uniform” Facebook page which organises uniform into ages (via Albums) and provides a description and price on each item photograph. This enables pre-loved uniform to be purchased at any time when you need it. If you don’t use Facebook please speak to any of the PTA Committee about what items you need.
If you have uniform which your child has grown out of, all types of clean school uniform in a good state of repair (Pencombe school branded and non-branded) can be donated for the PTA to sell.
Items can be given to any of the PTA Committee, or at specific collections – dates to be advised.
Uniform, and other personal items such as drinks bottles, can unfortunately get lost. We therefore strongly encourage everything to be labelled to ensure that it is returned to its rightful owner. Our PTA works with two name label companies offering great solutions to this problem:
