Firstly, we celebrated all of the achievements throughout the year. A huge well done to Astrid, Matilda, Adahna and Bobby for achieving the class shields. This is for being a consistent shining light over the year.
Well done to Ebony for achieving the Sports Award, Lois the Arts Award, Tyler the Resilience Award, and to Marley and Olivia the Friendship Award as voted by the children.
Rafe, Laycee, Olivia and Ebony had the gold pins. Well done everyone!

We then said massive thank you to Miss Cutter. She has become such a valued part of the Pencombe community and we appreciated her time with us. We hope her next adventure as a classroom teacher in Hereford is as great as she is, and we all wish her the very best of the luck.
Â
We said thank you to Heather, Karen and Deb who have been the heartbeat of our PTA for so many years. Ladies, your commitment will be truly missed, but your legacy will stay with us. The events you helped shape, the relationships you built, and the community you nurtured—those things last.
On behalf of the school, the staff, the parents, and the children: thank you. Thank you for your time. Thank you for your care. Thank you for being the heart of our PTA.
We wish you all the very best in your next chapter—and hope you take pride in all you’ve helped build here.
Â
Next, a heartfelt thanks to someone who has been a guiding presence, a steady supporter, and a source of wisdom and encouragement throughout their time with us—Reverend Sidwell.
Reverend Sidwell reminded us of the power of kindness, community, and faith. She brought comfort during difficult times and joy during celebrations. And most importantly, she helped us remember the bigger picture—why we do what we do, and who we do it for. Good luck in your next adventure.
Â
Finally, we said goodbye to our incredible Year 6s. As they get ready for the next big adventure, remember this: you are ready. You have everything you need inside you—courage, curiosity, and kindness. Take all the memories and lessons from Pencombe with you, and keep being exactly who you are.
