For the month of July, the school value is ‘friendship.’
The children chose this value because in July, the longer days and warmer weather create natural opportunities to connect with friends.
Also, as the children start to transition to their new classes, and the Year 6 children to a new secondary school, it is an opportunity to think about their friends and how important they are.

On Wednesday, Cherry class performed the story of ‘Ruth and Naomi’. This story shows how true friends are there by our side through the good and bad times.

Dear God,
Thank You for the gift of friendship — for hearts that listen, hands that help, and souls that understand. Help me to be a true friend: kind, patient, and loyal. May my friendships be rooted in love, strengthened by trust, and guided by Your light. Bless my friends, near and far, and keep our bonds strong through all seasons of life.
