On Thursday it was JAPAN DAY in Oak class as their topic is ‘Land of the Rising Sun’ this half term!

 

The children had a wonderful day celebrating the culture of Japan. They started the day off by painting Japanese lettering, then made sushi, created Manga drawings, and watched a martial arts demonstration thanks to some of the children in the class.

 

They were lucky enough to listen to Debs and Ivy-Mae talk of their life in Japan and Debs even brought in some traditional Japanese food for us to try – thank you so so much!
