As part of their ongoing topic “The Great Fire of London”, Birch class became bakers in Thomas Farriner’s Baker’s Shop on Pudding Lane. The children followed a recipe and worked together to create the bread dough. They then divided the dough and the children had a go at kneading the dough themselves.

Thankfully, no fire was started and Pencombe is still carrying on as normal! Super baking Birch class!
