This month, our extended school value is COURAGE chosen by the children because you need to find courage for the new term.

During our assembly today, the children worked collaboratively to create an acrostic poem to describe what courage means to them and how it can be found within school.

Notice the coloured words – they are part of our school vision:

“In God’s hands, we love, learn, grow and inspire.”

Dear Lord,

Give us your strength to face new challenges.

Help us to remember that sometimes we need to take small steps to begin with, but it’s starting the journey that matters.
